Recently, sponsored by Wuhan Jingcai Cultural Communication Co., LTD., co-organized by Shanghai Folk Musical Instrument Factory Co., LTD., and guided by Hubei Folk Orchestral Society and Hubei Musicians Association Guzheng Society, the Dunhuang Guyue 2022 Chutian Zheng Star Series Exhibition activities were successfully held in Wuhan.

This activity lasts for two days, the first day is mainly for the final performance. In the performance stage, the competition invited a number of young guzheng players from the conservatory of Music, master's tutors, as well as outstanding zither of the province to serve as judges. The head of the jury was Gao Yan. The judges included Hu Tongtong, associate professor of Guzheng from Wuhan Conservatory of Music and supervisor of postgraduate students, Hu Jing, Associate professor of Guzheng from Wuhan Conservatory of Music, Ge Xueting from Central China Normal University, Associate Professor Xu Ying from Wuchang Institute of Technology, and Zhao Zhen, Ambassador of Guzheng culture Promotion, etc.

The performance has not only won the attention of the guzheng related colleges, but also the attention of the media. The organizer of the event introduced, "Since its establishment in 2012, the Zheng Association has held regular industry competitions every year, aiming at cultivating new guzheng performers, inheriting the excellent culture, exploring and innovating guzheng art, and revitalizing the national music career. It also provides a professional exchange and learning platform for students."

In the final, the expert judges were impressed by the quality of the young performers. Zhao Zhen, Guzheng Culture Promotion Ambassador, said, "The overall quality of the performers in this competition is high and they have solid basic skills. Some excellent performers have achieved a balance between technique and expressability. We can see the overall improvement of the quality of professional education related to guzheng in recent years. Many players got good results in this competition, especially in the Zhao Zhen Guzheng competition area, 21 students stood out and won the gold medal. In addition, there were 18 silver award winners and 20 bronze award winners. It is very gratifying to see the contestants get a chance to perform and to be honored."

After the competition, Guzheng special lecture, Guzheng special exchange meeting, Dunhuang night? The Guzheng special concert of top innovative talents from Wuhan Conservatory of Music was presented successively. The highly professional, appreciative and learning music atmosphere provided an opportunity for the contestants and judges to communicate and improve.

In the Dunhuang Night Award concert, the winners received honors and applause.
