A cheongsam, graceful and graceful, and independent from the world; a bamboo qin, singing around the beam, melodious and unforgettable; life is graceful, stars hold the moon, and the glorious years are dedicated to the bamboo qin. She is a rose, charming and romantic, and she is also a bright moon, clear and bright. She is the woman who won't let that man, she is the first woman to play the bamboo piano, she is Hua Guoxiu.

Women's Bamboo Qin First Person: Lady Rose, Bamboo Qin's Life

As the national representative inheritor of Sichuan Zhuqin, Hua Guoxiu has gone through nearly 80 years of romance. Her former glory has gradually been forgotten, but her name has left a strong mark on the roster of bamboo qin, a folk art. The beauty is twilight, and what she can't put down in her heart is still the bamboo qin that she has been persistent in her whole life.

Qing Ben poor family daughter fortunately entered Quyi Road

Hua Guoxiu was originally a longevity person in Chongqing. Because of the poverty of his family, he moved to Wanxian with his parents when he was young. His father was a skilled tailor. Although his business was good, his income was meager and it was difficult to support his family. In order to subsidize the family, the mother often goes out to work. Parents are frugal and squeeze money out of their teeth for their three daughters to study. Hua Guoxiu has been smart and sensible since she was a child. If she can study for a long time, she will undoubtedly become a talented woman.

However, life was bumpy and uneven. When my mother went out to work, she caught a heat stroke by the Yangtze River. Because she was not sent to the doctor in time, Fang Hun died early. After that, the father raised three daughters alone. In order to lighten his father's burden, Hua Guoxiu, a young man, gave up his studies and worked for his father.

After finishing her work every day, Hua Guoxiu would fly into the street like a bird, but she is just a little daughter under ten years old, full of curiosity about everything in the outside world. In the hustle and bustle outside, what fascinated Hua Guoxiu the most was the storytelling in the teahouse, and she went to listen to it for a while every day. But she had to pay tea money to enter the teahouse. Although the money was not a lot, she did not have a penny to listen to the book from a poor family.

In order to be able to enter the teahouse and listen to it for a while, Hua Guoxiu will also do her best. At first, she followed behind the adults who were about to enter the teahouse, pulling the corners of the adults' clothes, making people mistakenly believe that she was the children of the adults. But after a long time, the people in the teahouse discovered that she was not the child of these guests, but came to listen, and coaxed her out. Hua Guoxiu cried and begged so that she could stand by the door of the teahouse and listen, but how could the little girls in the teahouse take pity on a penniless little girl.

Just in the midst of the shouting, the boss of the teahouse, Xie, learned about it. He called Hua Guoxiu to him, only to see her with delicate features, her mouth turning like an oriole, and seeing that she really wanted to listen to books and watch plays. Boss Xie was moved and felt pity, so he promised to open the door of the teahouse to her in the future and never charge a penny.

Fortunately, thanks to the kindness of boss Xie, Hua Guoxiu got a precious learning opportunity. Since then, she has been listening to books in the teahouse every day, secretly learning singing songs of folk arts such as Qing Yin and Zhuqin. This experience laid a solid foundation for her Quyi road, and in her heart, her gratitude to Boss Xie is beyond words.

Sixteen-year-old Jasper was in his youth, his father was getting old, and the burden on the family was heavier. Hua Guoxiu decided to go out of the house and find a way to make a living. She chose to learn Quyi without hesitation, which was her love and her pursuit. This decision started her legendary life.

With her beautiful appearance and excellent understanding of music, Hua Guoxiu was admitted to the Wanxian Art Troupe in one fell swoop. When choosing a major, she remembered the bamboo qin that she loved to listen to when she was a child, and decided to learn it. At that time, most of the bamboo qin actors was Yang Yuguo in the art troupe, and he was highly respected.

Hua Guoxiu humbly begged Teacher Yang to accept her as an apprentice, which Teacher Yang did not expect. For a long time, the bamboo qin was played by men, and there were almost no women. Seeing Hua Guoxiu's eagerness and sincerity in learning the qin, Teacher Yang asked her to show her knowledge of the bamboo qin to see if she was qualified. Hua Guoxiu performed a performance of the bamboo qin program that she taught herself in a teahouse when she was a child. This made Teacher Yang's eyes shine, and she felt that she was a malleable talent, and immediately accepted her as a disciple.

Studying with Teacher Yang has opened the door to Hua Guoxiu's journey to the bamboo piano. Teacher Yang has superb skills, rich experience, and very strict requirements. He asked Hua Guoxiu to memorize every lyric word by word, and the gestures and actions of the performance must be in place. Five years of meticulous study, Hua Guoxiuqing came out of blue, inherited the teacher's singing skills and singing style, and has its own unique charm, living up to the teacher's entrustment.

The reputation of the Quartet, innovation and light

After five years of studying art, performing with the teacher, and receiving good reviews, Hua Guoxiu was transferred to the Wanxian Quyi Troupe. Leaving her master and taking the lead, her Zhuqin life is about to start a new chapter.

In 1958, due to the good performance, the county recommended Hua Guoxiu to participate in the Sichuan Quyi performance. The fledgling Hua Guoxiu, with its beautiful appearance and clear voice, stunned the audience with the song "Sable under the Moon" and was highly praised by the conference.

After that, in the Quyi troupe, Hua Guoxiu has been participating in various performances organized by the troupe. The performances at that time were all comprehensive, and each performance was a turn of various quyi performances, which was called "quyi comprehensive". In 1960, in order to train actors, "single-hall" performances were encouraged, that is, there was only one performance of folk art, and one person performed the whole show. Hua Guoxiu is the first batch of actors to accept the task of "single hall".

In the Yuejiang Building in the center of Wanxian County, Hua Guoxiu started her "single hall" performance, which lasted for half a year, and the venue was full and received numerous applause and praise. Not only did he overfulfill the task, but he also let his name gradually spread.

In the second year, in order to further cultivate outstanding actors, the Quyi troupe dispatched a group of actors to study in the Chengdu Quyi troupe, including Hua Guoxiu. During the four-month study of the Chengdu Quyi Troupe, Hua Guoxiu humbly learned various quyi from many masters. She learned to sing unvoiced from Li Yueqiu, and from Zou Zhongxin to sing the money board, and she did not forget to ask Yang Qingwen for bamboo qin singing skills.

After four months of study, Hua Guoxiu improved her artistic accomplishment and singing skills. The tactful and flexible voiceless and rich melody complement the flat rhythm of the bamboo qin, and the exaggerated movements and rich demeanor during the performance of the money board also help the performance of the bamboo qin. Hua Guoxiu makes use of the advantages of various quyi, learn from each other's strengths and complement each other's weaknesses, and further enrich the content and form of bamboo qin performances.

Bamboo qin is an ancient and elegant rap art, and the essence of the tradition must be inherited, but with the development of the times, blindly sticking to the tradition will lose its appeal to the audience. So Hua Guoxiu began to explore the innovative road of bamboo piano. At this time, one of her new disciples, Wu Kaya, gave her many pertinent suggestions, and Hua Guoxiu started the reform and innovation of Zhuqin together with her.

The long bamboo qin is changed to a short qin, so that it can play a variety of performance functions, and can be used as a prop. From sitting singing to walking singing and performances, the singing of modern themed repertoires has been increased. Changing the form of single performance and adding folk music accompaniment not only enhances the singing atmosphere, but also strengthens the expressiveness of the plot. Such an innovative move, once it came out, attracted more young audiences, and for a time there was a flourishing situation of young students chartering the venue to watch the performances.

At the same time, Hua Guoxiu started teaching and took the task of training Zhuqin successors on his shoulders. Since then, Hua Guoxiu has taught batch after batch of disciples, and the world is full of peaches and plums. Among them, Wu Kaya has the deepest relationship with her.

Since 1965, Hua Guoxiu has led the team to tour around. The surrounding districts and counties are almost everywhere, and he has performed in the province many times. Wherever you go, you must be greeted with enthusiasm, the performances are sold out, and rave reviews. For each performance, Hua Guoxiu has to return to the stage two or three times to appease the eager hearts of the audience. Such a grand occasion is unprecedented in the history of bamboo qin performances, and it is unimaginable for people today.

The reason why Hua Guoxiu's bamboo qin performance is wonderful comes from her day-to-day study and meticulousness. When portraying different roles, she will work hard and strive for perfection. Singing the negative characters is not a simple facial expression, but works hard from their reactionary nature, so as to bring out the heroic characters' cleverness and invincibility in the world. When singing complex female roles, draw on traditional rock dance and Xiaohualian music singing. The tones of unvoiced, dulcimer, qianban, folk songs, boatmen's horns and local dramas are eclectic, so that the melody is beautiful and smooth, and the ups and downs are gentle. It has both the style of bamboo qin music and the new ideas of the times.

In 1987, he was invited by Sichuan Radio to record the long bibliography "The Legend of Hua Ziliang", which was broadcast on Sichuan People's Broadcasting Station and Central People's Broadcasting Station successively. Then, together with his proud disciple Wu Kaya and his beloved son Tan Huabo, he wrote "The Legend of Hua Ziliang" into a book, which has become an important inheritance book of Zhuqin. period.

The art industry has reached a peak, and the family is also happy

Hua Guoxiu won applause and fame for her outstanding bamboo qin performance, received countless flowers and awards, and also ushered in the peak of her career.

In 1975, Hua Guoxiu participated in the Sichuan Quyi performance, and won unanimous praise from the leaders and experts of Sichuan Province with "Love Like the Sea". They praised Hua Guoxiu and made bold innovations in singing, not only retaining the original style of the bamboo qin, but also blending the tones of Sichuan Opera, Huangmei Opera, and Yue Opera. It's refreshing.

In 1982, Hua Guoxiu participated in the "Spring of the East Sichuan Gateway" performance and won the grand prize for "Huawei Eliminate Traitors". In the same year, he served as the head of the Quyi troupe, leading the troupe to a new journey.

After that, Hua Guoxiu held several positions. Member of the 6th and 10th CPPCC of Wanxian City, and a member of the 9th CPPCC Standing Committee of Wanxian City. In 1988, he was elected as the chairman of Wanxian Quyi Artists Association, and in the second year he was elected as the vice-chairman of Sichuan Quyi Association. After Chongqing came under direct jurisdiction, he became a consultant of Chongqing Quyi Artists Association and a consultant of Chongqing Three Gorges Quyi Troupe. During his tenure, he was conscientious and made great contributions to promoting the inheritance and development of Quyi culture.

"A fair lady, a gentleman is good." The ancients said. Like Hua Guoxiu, who has both talent and virtue, looks and conduct, has countless suitors. Hua Guoxiu has a happy love and a happy family in her life. She has two husbands who have taken good care of her, accompanied her at different stages of her life, and brought her two beautiful marriages.

The first Mr. Tan loved and respected Hua Guoxiu all his life. His affection for her was evident from the names of their children. The eldest son's name is Tan Huahuai, and the two characters "Tan and Hua" are their surnames, and the word "Huai" is taken from "Tianxian Match". In "Tianxian Match", the marriage between Dong Yong and the seven fairies was made by an old locust tree spirit, and the locust tree was endowed with a good marriage and a perfect match. Mr. Tan took this word as the first child's name, and its meaning is self-evident.

And the love between Hua Guoxiu and Mr. Tan also originated from a "fate". Hua Guoxiu moved to Wanzhou with his parents and later lived in an alley where Mr. Tan also lived. Mr. Tan was originally a peasant who came to the city's grocery store from Tiancheng Mountain to be an apprentice, but because he had studied in the past, he was good at writing, smart, capable, and handsome in appearance. After liberation, he was entrusted with important tasks. Mr. Tan is six years older than Hua Guoxiu. He has been in the WTO for many years, but she is still an innocent little girl. Seeing her bright smile every day, Mr. Tan feels that his heart is illuminated by a ray of sunshine.

When Hua Guoxiu debuted on stage, he heard the news and rushed to the show and cheered enthusiastically. After that, every game will come, rain or shine. When Hua Guoxiu reached the right age, Mr. Tan began to attack. Every time he would bring a large group of friends to the show, he would not allow others to approach Hua Guoxiu. After the performance, he would personally send Hua Guoxiu home. After a long time, other suitors also dare not compete with him. During the contact, Hua Guoxiu gradually discovered that he is actually a very easy-going person, very charming, but he is quite domineering in love. With the unanimous support of family and friends, the two tied the knot. After marriage, in order to allow Hua Guoxiu to concentrate on the bamboo piano career, no matter how busy the work is, Mr. Tan will take care of the housework and pick up Hua Guoxiu on time every day. After each night performance, Hua Guoxiu felt extremely happy and warm when she saw her husband and children waiting for her at the entrance of the alley.

Mr. Tan has accompanied Hua Guoxiu through several decades, and he has never changed. Unfortunately, the old illness relapsed and unfortunately passed away. Without being able to stay together for a long time, Mr. Tan is most worried about who will take care of her in the years to come. Mr. Tan's death caused a huge blow to Hua Guoxiu, and she was immersed in pain for a long time.

Perhaps it was Mr. Tan's sincerity that moved God, or perhaps it was Hua Guoxiu's kindness that brought her happiness, and Mr. Huang came to her side. As a cadre of a shipping company, Mr. Huang often went to Wanzhou in his early years. He had watched Hua Guoxiu's performances and became a loyal fan of her at that time. Whenever he came to Wanzhou, he must watch her performances. He never bothered her, just wanted to enjoy it quietly. Later, he was transferred to Wanzhou to work and became friends with Hua Guoxiu's family. After Mr. Tan's death, seeing that Hua Guoxiu would spend his later years alone, Mr. Huang couldn't bear it, so he sincerely begged to take care of Hua Guoxiu, and finally got the support of everyone, and the two decided to spend the rest of their lives together. In 2001, Hua Guoxiu began to suffer from a serious illness. Mr. Huang was in his seventies and his heart was not good, but he still insisted on taking care of her in the hospital.

When he was young, he was sincerely cared for by Mr. Tan. Although he could not hold hands for the rest of his life, he was happy for most of his life. In his later years, he was cared for by Mr. Huang wholeheartedly.

As the first female bamboo qin, Hua Guoxiu is an epoch-making figure in the history of bamboo qin. She brought a new form of bamboo qin playing, and also brought the peak period of bamboo qin, and what she has done for the whole quyi world is also indisputable. After the splendid blooming of the lady rose, it gradually withered away. The legend of Hua Guoxiu is about to end, but her beloved Zhuqin has a successor, and another legend may be quietly staged.
