Introduction to Yang Xue(erhu)Master performer

Yang Xue, female, contemporary erhu performer, graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music. He was the recipient of the first batch of youth stage art performance talent projects of the National Arts Fund in 2019.

He is currently an associate professor of the Central Conservatory of Music, a master tutor, and the deputy secretary-general of the Huqin Professional Committee of the Chinese National Orchestra Society.

At the age of five, he studied erhu with his father. At the age of ten, he was admitted to the primary school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music, where he studied under the famous erhu performers Professor Zhao Hanyang and Professor Yan Jiemin successively. He has also been instructed by professors such as Wang Guotong, Min Huifen, Chen Yaoxing, Yang Guangxiong, Li Heng and Xu Zhenmin in erhu, banhu and composition.

In 1995, he was promoted to the High School Attached to the Central Conservatory of Music. In 2001, he was promoted to the undergraduate degree of the Central Conservatory of Music with honors. Due to their excellent grades, they are also eligible to graduate early and be recommended for postgraduate studies. Obtained a master's degree and stayed on to teach after graduation.

In the more than ten years of participating in the China Youth National Orchestra and the China Youth National Orchestra, Yang Xue has gradually become the backbone of the orchestra and served as the orchestra's principal. With the orchestra, he has participated in the National University Student Art Festival, the school celebration, the Central Conservatory of Music Music Festival, the large-scale national concert celebrating the return of Hong Kong, and the International Music Festival.

He is the author of such papers as Lecture on "Remembering Erhu Performance Concept and Environment Cultivation", "Thinking About Erhu", "Performance Experience of Erhu Concerto", "On the Erhu Concerto "Totem" and so on.

He once served as the principal and solo performer of the China Youth National Orchestra, and premiered works such as Totem, Erhu Concerto, and Why Are Flowers So Red. He has performed solo, ensemble and concerto works such as "Shuangjiao", "The Legend of Grottoes", "A Hundred Years of Thoughts", "Fire Festival", "Dyeing", etc. He has recorded and published "Erhu Series Test Demonstration", "Erhu Beginner Course", "Erhu Beginner Course" Totem", "It's the scene", "Flying with the Wind" and other CD-ROMs.

Yang Xue paid attention to the cultivation of students' ensemble ability, created and adapted the erhu ensemble "Good Night", "Only One Step", "Northeast Minor" and other works, established the "Bow String Dance" Erhu ensemble group, and led the students to perform "Facial Makeup" for the first time. ", "Tango" and other ensemble works, have held several erhu ensemble concerts, creating a platform for students to practice art. Yang Xue also participated in the creation of the "Xinfeng" chamber orchestra and was employed by the "Space Chinese Music" chamber orchestra.
