He integrated, sorted out, and lectured the "Chinese Folk Music Vertical and Horizontal Talk" series of folk music courses. He introduced the development process of Chinese folk music through the "longitudinal" of the chronological style, and through the chapter-hui style. The "horizontal" presents the musical instruments, works and music masters of the Chinese nation in various periods.

Since 2007, Zhao Lei has premiered the Erhu Concerto "A Hundred Years of Thoughts" at the Hong Kong City Hall, and performed solo at the "Chinese Erhu Master Classics Concert" at the National Centre for the Performing Arts. , Solo performance in the 10th "MORI World Music Festival" in Hiroshima, Japan.
