Recently, the "Night of Dunhuang -- A Concert of Famous Guzheng Classics" was held in the concert hall of Guangxi Culture and Art Center. Li Meng, a guzheng player, educator and doctoral supervisor of the Central Conservatory of Music from Guangxi, together with Chinese Music Golden Bell Award winners Yang Yutong, Zhang Jiakang and other artists, presented a wonderful audio-visual feast for the audience.

The repertoire of this concert is rich and colorful, including not only the traditional zheng song "Fishing Boat Singing Night", the ancient song "Sea Qing", but also the modern songs "Looking into Qinchuan", "Traveler", "Yi nationality Dance", "Cloudless sky", as well as the seven-tone zheng work "Moonlight Qingming" and the multi-tone zheng work "Far Journey" by Li Meng.

According to the introduction, this performance is the first time that Li Meng returned to her hometown to hold a concert. "In the future, we should continue to draw the fountain of modern music from the context of traditional culture, engender stronger vitality in folk music, realize the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional zheng music, and contribute to the prosperity and development of zheng music art." Li Meng said.
