Gift Jiang (pinyin: Zèng jiāng), also known as Dachang Drum, is a percussion instrument unique to the Jingpo people. It is popular in Luxi, Ruili, Longchuan, Yingjiang, Lianghe and other places in Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province.
The drum frame was originally hollowed out with a whole section of huge logs, and now it is also welded with two large gasoline drums, which is cylindrical. Both ends are covered with cowhide. The diameter of the drum surface is 80 cm to 100 cm, and the length of the drum frame is 250 cm to 300 cm. The edges of the leather surface are first stretched on the bamboo strips or rattan rings, and then cover the drum openings at both ends, and the two rings are tightened with ropes (Fig. ). The drum is made of wood, and the drum is 40 cm long.

The Jingpo people generally believe in the primitive polytheism of animism. The biggest sacrificial activity is to sacrifice to the "Mudai" ghost, that is, to hold the "Munao". meaning. Now collectively known as "Munao Zongge", it has developed into a large-scale collective singing and dancing activity of the Jingpo people. During festivals, in Jingpo Village surrounded by mountains, a gift of Xinjiang is set up on the ground, and musicians play Dongba and Turen, and play the gift of Jiang, big cymbals, small cymbals and cymbals. Accompanied by the accompaniment, they formed a circle and danced with the music and the festival. At least hundreds of people came to celebrate the festival and celebrate the harvest. It lasted for several days and had a good time. In the Jingpo folk wind and percussion band, the gift is the main rhythm instrument. It is also used for the accompaniment of the funeral dance "Beng Dong Dance" (that is, funeral dance). After the death of an elderly Jingpo, young men and women among relatives and friends will go to the deceased's house to dance the "Beng Dong Dance", which lasts all night and is in a continuous stream. Da Zheng and Xiao Zheng played a slow-paced "dong ding dong" sound to express their condolences to the deceased.
