Recently, the Ruyi Erhu Concert (in commemoration of Min Hui-fen's birthday Series) was staged in the concert Hall of Shanghai Oriental Arts Center. Ruyi Erhu Concert: Poetry on the string, sound memory of the deceased

"Poems Sing on strings" is the main title of Min Hye-fen's article "On the Performance Art of the Erhu Ballad < Newlywed Farewell". Ruyi recalled that Min Huifen had talked to him more than once before her death: "Both Erhu and poetry are excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation. The combination of the two on the stage will have an extraordinary effect and artistic conception. The audience will also like them very much. This concert is dedicated to Min Hye-fen, a folk musician who died eight years ago, by combing out classic works related to traditional poetry among Min Hye-fen's representative works, and reciting and singing the most beautiful Chinese poems with Erhu, which is the best fit for human voice among traditional Chinese Musical Instruments.

The concert opened with Min Huifen's adaptation of "Yangguan Sandiad", which is the representative work of Min Huifen's exploration and practice of "harmonization of instrumental performance" over the years. Ruyi played it with heart and emotion, blending the long rhythm of guqin and the exciting singing of human voice with the best expression method of Erhu, and concentrating the feeling of missing continuously on the two strings of Erhu. Set the tone for the whole concert.

Birds in the Empty Mountains and Moonlit Night are two of Liu Tianhua's early compositions. In "Birds in the Sky", Ruyi presents an elegant artistic conception with her exquisite "three rounds of fingers" playing technique. "Taste of Mojie poem, poem painting", listen to Ruyi play this song as if there are poems in music, full of Zen rhyme in Wang Wei's poetry. This performance of "Moonlight Night" is a rare version of chamber music accompaniments on the stage. It also shows the ethereal view of "floating water under the sky, floating algae and floating heart growing together" when the moon is shining and the shadows of trees are drenching. It seems that the audience will be moved and delighted by this view. "Nishangqu" is also accompanied by chamber music. This song is adapted by Min Huifen based on the folk instrumental music brand "Yu 'e Lang" transplanted by silk and bamboo artists in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The melody is warm and elegant.

Guqin solo "Memory of the Deceased" will be the concert of the ancient style and elegant rhyme to a climax, Wang Long's performance seems to be at ease, but not at random, continuous affection is self-evident. Wang Long founded the traditional music brand "Sea Elegant Music" in Shanghai Oriental Arts Center in 2009, and has been performing there for 13 years. Min Hye-fen has performed in the "Sea Music" and served as an art consultant. Min Huifen was enthusiastic about the popularization of folk music, and Wang Long and Ruyi have been sparing no effort to promote and popularize folk music.

Followed by two very style and personality music "a flower" and "Honghu Theme Thoughts". "A Flower" is adapted by Zhang Shiye using the musical material of the same name played in the southwest of Shandong Province and the Suona music of the same name created by Ren Tongxiang. Ruyi, who was born in Jinan, Shandong Province, shows the strong local style of southwest Shandong incisively and vividly in this piece. The Rhapsody on the Theme of Honghu Lake was adapted by Min Huifen from the opera Red Guards of Honghu Lake. The song was first performed in Shanghai Culture Square on New Year's Day in 1978. It was a very successful practice of Min Huifen's erhu vocal art. Rich grace note is often an important means to express local color in music, and its tightness, speed and slowness need careful consideration by players. Ruyi's performance grasps the styles of different regions and is truly moving. In addition, he pays attention to the changing mood of the music, with appropriate priorities and relaxation. The euphemism and moving place is light but not empty. The Erhu is delicate and affectionate, and the spirit of singing can be reproduced on the Erhu with mixed feelings. Emotional impassioned place is full of breath, the atmosphere is awe inspiring, the bow is open and full of enthusiasm.

In this concert, the main section of "Newlywed Farewell" composed by Zhang Xiaofeng and Zhu Xiaogu, which was premiered by Min Hye-fen, will appear. The music tells the tragic story of a simple and kind-hearted poor girl's "farewell at the end of her wedding day" under the historical background of the "Rebellion of An and Shi", with mixed feelings of happiness, anger, sorrow and joy. Ruyi makes the events described in the poem vivid and dramatic. "You now to death, deep pain forced the gut", the music in the hearts of the audience formed a resonance. In the second half of the music, when "Change" and "Farewell" were played, the sorrowful feeling of parting from birth and death made the whole audience sad. Under the stage, the audience could not stop sobbing, and Ruyi on the stage also quietly shed tears. The song "Newlywed Farewell" is not only the singing of Du Fu's stories, but also the catharsis and eruption of Min Huifen and Min Huifen's Erhu art.

During the whole concert, I followed the first poem intoned on the piano strings, watched the willows in the Weicheng City, listened to the birds in the empty mountains, enjoyed the moonlight on summer nights, and tasted the Han and Tang dynasties. Music as the medium, the unique Chinese beauty of the elegant rhyme through time and space. And the image of Min Huifen seems to be on the other side of the music, also across time, miraculously emerged in front of people, will be remembered and remembered forever. The love and miss for Min Huifen is endless in the sound of two strings singing...
