"Moon's High" is a well-known ancient Chinese pipa traditional large set of tunes. The date and author of the composition are unknown. According to legend, it was composed by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. The earliest extant version is a piece from the manuscript "Gaohe Jiangdong" in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, which was later adapted into national orchestral music and guzheng music.
