In 1948, Zhou Peilong was born in a family of folk musicians in Fupai Village, Yushan Town. His grandparents and grandchildren all know a variety of traditional Chinese musical instruments. In elementary school, Zhou Peilong began to learn to blow and pull musical instruments. When he was young, he went out to perform with a troupe and accumulated rich experience in performing arts. After returning to the village in middle age, he served as the accountant of the village committee for 15 years. In the village, he is fond of folk music and has been participating in various literary and artistic activities, and is especially good at erhu. He is a famous erhu master in Shiliba Village.

In 2014, Yufeng Primary School formulated the teaching plan of "Folk Musical Instruments into the Classroom", specially hired Zhou Peilong, who had been out of work at home, as the school's folk music teacher to be responsible for the music teaching courses for the six grades of the school.
