Zhang Zisheng: The art of guqin will certainly flourish in Lanzhou

The influence of Guqin music on the human heart has been continuous for thousands of years. In 2008, the guqin performance at the Beijing Olympic Games amazed the world and promoted the guqin craze. What Zhang Zisheng has been trying to do is to use what he has learned and felt to leave something for the future spread of Guqin.

Zhang Zisheng began to learn the qin in 1989, under the tutelage of Jinmen Jiuyi school, Mr. Gao Zhongjun, Mr. Li Yunzhong, and then successively sought lessons from Liu Li, Wu Wenguang, Gong Yi, Li Xiangting and many other famous masters. In 1992, he won the highest prize in Hangzhou International Guqin Invitational Competition.
