The Zhucheng School of Guqin is an important Guqin school formed in the middle and late 19th century. It was included in the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Project by UNESCO in 2008. Since 2006, Zhucheng has vigorously protected and inherited the Guqin art of the Zhucheng School by inviting representative inheritors to Zhuchuanyi, establishing a Guqin Association, holding an elegant collection of Guqin, and promoting the Guqin to enter the campus, and has cultivated a large number of new-era qin players.

In order to celebrate the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival and welcome the convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Zhucheng School Guqin Mid-Autumn Festival is specially held to "Welcome the 20th Suqin Ode to the Golden Autumn". More than 40 guqin enthusiasts gathered together, expressed their meanings with the qin and expressed their emotions with songs, and successively performed "Guan Shanyue", "Good Night Quote", "Wine Crazy", "Bijian Liuquan", "Fisherman's Questions and Answers", "Autumn Thoughts in Dongting" and "Flowing Water". "Jade Tower Spring Dawn", "Pingsha Falling Wild Goose" and other famous guqin songs, interspersed with national instrumental music such as "Happy Qin", "Yueren Song", "Remembering Jiangnan", etc., came to an end with the beautiful sound of the guqin ensemble "When Will the Bright Moon Come". Accompanied by the sound of the piano, the three painters splashed ink on the spot and created exquisite works of art.

The gathering is hosted by Zhucheng Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Zhucheng Culture and Tourism Bureau, organized by Zhucheng Cultural Center, Zhucheng Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, and co-organized by Zhucheng Media Center and Zhucheng Guqin Association.
