sinie Sini (pinyin: Sī niè) is popular in Tibet, Sichuan, Gansu, Yunnan and other provinces and regions. It is also called Sini in Tibetan.
It is made of bronze, bowl-shaped, with a large and thin surface, raised edges, and a small and flat cap protrusion in the center. The diameter of the face is 33 cm to 37 cm, the diameter of the cap is 6 cm to 7 cm, and the height of the cap is 4 cm to 4.5 cm. Both sides are one pair.
When playing, hold one side with both hands and strike each other to pronounce. The tone is soft and loud, the volume is loud and the aftertaste is long. Used in Tibetan opera accompaniment and religious music. It is an inseparable rhythm instrument for Tibetan Buddhist monks to chant scriptures and perform religious dances on religious festivals.
